Marketship LLC ("MarketShip," "we," "our," or "us") operates the MarketShip Driver mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Driver Identification: A numeric driver PIN assigned by your employer. No email address or password is required.
Precise Location: GPS coordinates collected while the App is active and you are logged in. Location data is shared with your dispatch team to support load tracking and logistics operations.
Delivery Photos: Photos you capture or upload as proof of delivery (POD/BOL). These are stored securely and shared with your dispatcher and the connected transportation management system (TMS).
Shipment Activity: Status updates you submit (e.g., arrived at pickup, in transit, delivered) and detention time you report.

2. How We Use Your Information

To display assigned loads and shipment details to you
To share your real-time GPS location with authorized dispatch personnel
To transmit delivery confirmations and proof-of-delivery photos to your company's TMS
To calculate and record detention time for billing purposes
To maintain a record of shipment status history

3. Location Data

The App collects precise GPS location data while you are logged in and actively using the App. This data is:

Transmitted to MarketShip's secure servers and shared with your employer's dispatch team
Used solely for logistics and load tracking purposes
Not sold to or shared with third-party advertisers

You can stop location sharing at any time by logging out of the App or using the Stop Tracking control on the Profile screen.

4. Data Sharing

We share your information only with:

Your employer / dispatch team — who uses MarketShip to manage loads and drivers
Connected TMS providers — as configured by your employer for shipment data synchronization
Service providers — who help us operate and host the platform, under confidentiality obligations

We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

5. Data Retention

Shipment records, status updates, and delivery photos are retained for as long as your employer's account is active. Location history is retained for operational and compliance purposes. You may contact your employer or MarketShip to request deletion.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and secure server infrastructure to protect your data.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for use by professional truck drivers who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
